No. That's an import not localization. A lot of games on Xbox 360 are not region locked. So if you are proficient in Japanese you can probably opt for the import. Though you should wait until someone test it out to be fully compatible before getting it. As for a localization, I wouldn't count on it.

Actually, nearly all Japanese region 360 games are indeed region locked. However, most US region 360 games are playable on a Japanese 360 console. The warranty for Japanese 360 consoles is also valid in the US. It seems that Microsoft wants Americans to buy Japanese 360s.

Out of all the english-released hentai games that I've played, almost none of them have had the japanese voices replaced. If it gets an english release then the thing that would most likely change would be the script, which would either be semi-faithful to the original or completely rewritten to sound like a porno.
All the english H games were translated for a very specific demographic and made to be as weeaboo friendly as possible.
Its important to realise that doesn't apply for normal console translations. Furthermore, Dream Club is a CERO C Rated title for teens and is aimed at the pure of heart.

But I really think it fits the whole culture of the 360. We 360 owners took it for im@s back when. They know the 360 owners are heavy DLC spenders.
PC might have dangers of hax stealing the DLCs. I have no idea if Wii or PS3 do heavy DLC sales but i would be very surprised if they beat im@s and L4U in DLC sales.
If I was planning an exclusive release, I'd place it on the 360.

I for one am hoping for a dual language track. Especially a full voice system down to the unimportant extra townspeople. That might be enough to impress me.
PS3 only owners will undoubtably not care but if you're a multi system owner and have the choice between something now and something a year or so away you might make a different choice.

When you can speak the language, you tend to think in it rather then in English. The same goes for Japanese speakers learning English. I suspect that's why they keep inverting the surname when writing names in English.
I had to try hard to forget all my Chinese words because they kept getting in the way of my kanji learning. Its a small victory that when I see a kanji now I think of its Japanese pronunciation rather then the Chinese one I grew up with.
Japanese is not my first language but I learnt (and still am learning) it so that I can better understand my games, anime and manga.
Rather then raging on the use of Japanese words, why don't you join us and learn the language. You won't be able to play idolmaster and dream club like us without it. An otaku without understanding of the Japanese language is completely at the mercy of translators whose proficiency he'll never be able to gauge.

I'd love to see a PSP port, myself. The iDOLM@STER handled the downgrade process well, but who knows if D3 Publisher has the same technical wizardry at its disposal as Namco Bandai?
While a PSP Port will increase is avaliability and that is good, I can't bear to downgrade. My PSP doesn't have a single imas title.

I feel for you... but the lock on dream club has not been confirmed..... at least I saw nothing on d3's page.
My J360 is acting funny... it may not live that long. Being able to replace it with a non J360 will help.
No lock is best.
If you live in the US, Microsoft will honor the warranty on your J360. Just make sure you let them know somehow that it's Japanese if/when you need to send it to them. They fixed my J360 when I got the RROD.
To be more precise, a J360 is under the full warranty given. Ie. 3 years on the RROD.
If you're not in Japan, you will be asked to ship it to the nearest Microsoft Service Center. A few are located around the world, Hong Kong and Australia are 2 that come to mind but more definately exist.
You will need to pay for the shipping to them. They will cover the repairs and the shipping back to you.
This works anywhere in the world.
I just got my 360 from Australia's repair center. Took about 4 days of repair work. I'm back to im@s again. Really missed it.
Hope this helps those planning to import a J360.
(PS. Take the new Arcade Model, they supposedly have the most stable hardware. But 3 years is a long time on the warranty. PS3s are barely a year and seem to have a lot of clauses whereby they don't repair imported sets.)
