You get a case of 100 boxes and you're assured of getting 4 of each main character, 16 of the next category (some weird Kogami Akira thing and that yawning/sleeping cat from Lucky Star), 20 of the customized mini-valykyries (5 of each), and 48 of the additional girls in nyan-nyan waitress cosplay. The individual boxes are selling for ¥800 a pop here at local stores, so you're not getting any kind of discount other than the fact that you'll be sure to get a set amount of everything. I guess one could in theory try to sell back the extras or something to a shop or on ebay, but I doubt you'd make all your money back.
