Both photography skills and picture quality (also other minor aspect of these illustrations) prove to be in need of upgrading, however both thought of and execution of the cosplay itself proves to be delightfully naive...

Yeah I agree - needs some work, but the entire photography and cosplay had "spirit" to it. You can tell the cosplayer was at least TRYING to be like Marisa.

I don't really agree on the spirit part, since Marisa as a character is a confident, self-centered tomboy. She would not be caught without a confident grin or a smirk. And I doubt the actual Marisa would do the hand to the mouth thing. Rather, she would do the confident arm-folded pose, the thumbs up or other tomboyish pose.
- Needed to be a "floppy" witch hat.
- No buttons on vest.
- Blond is sorta required.
- Apron needed to have really curved edges.
- No broom.
- Needed ribbon on right side of hair.
- Braid needed to be much heaver.
- Needed the granny bloomers haha
But I am just picky :P

I feel sorry for people who cosplay Touhou. Touhou characters wear so much clothing under their dresses, that they mus suffer some horrible crotch sweat.

Oh, the dilapidated factories, those were my favourite parts of the Touhou series. Remember how your looking for the culprit behind the false moon, and they turn out to be hiding in an abandoned factory in the bamboo forest?
