Haruhi DS Game Released – Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokuretsu

The Haruhi DS game previously forecasted for release last year has finally been released, no doubt timed to coincide with the the start of the second season.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokuretsu (The Series of Haruhi Suzumiya) is a standard anime tie-in adventure game, interspersing visual novel scenes with various DS-style minigames.

The Serial of Haruhi Suzumiya is available now for just under $50.
Haruhi game sales for several titles, most notably the much hyped Gekidou, have started to collapse, though this was before the start of a new series became evident. It will be interesting to see whether they now recover.
An official, translated version of the game for the international market can be expected shortly, after pigs learn to fly and just before Clamp finishes X/1999.

I have been into anime for too long and I completely lost interest on hyper long stories like x/1999, last time someone said X manga had ended.

5 haruhi games in all, played them all. Trnaslating is my profession.
The best 2 are the psp one and the 2nd wii one (one on the ship), because they're both fully voiced interactive stories.
The ps2 one was a pile of shit, kyon's dialogue wasn't even voiced. The whole game developing process was just tedious and boring.
First wii game was naff, boring dance game with shitty additional mini games thrown in.
New ds game is okay but not finished it yet.

Been playing both for a while, and they were released after Haruhi DS. My guess is some stuff is backlogged, even the K-On article appeared after the ep was already subtitled.
Because Sankakucomplex doesn't have enough contributors, duh.
We were delayed by some unfortunate problems earlier.
