The apparent cover for the latest and sixth volume of mahjong loli/oppai manga Saki has emerged, and fans are impressed by how well the tone has been maintained from volume to volume… Many are saying that the sixth is the best cover so far, and the most moe.
Naturally, there are those who doubt its authenticity too.

This should total be a fake... First, it is not moe at all. In fact you can hardly tell he/she is a girl. Second, this character is not even a important character, who got crushed by nodoka, it's screen time doesn't even go over a chapter. It makes zero sense for her to be on the cover...

Saki is actually pretty good. Anime adaptation does the manga justice, and more. Never new a show about mahjong could be so awesome. If anything, the characters are really interesting/appealing.

I'm not sure why people're saying the art style is different... the character featured on "Cover 6 of Sagi" was an actual character who popped up for about a chapter or two in Volume 2 of Saki. Fucking creepy as hell, but a real character.

Never watched the series,but ... It's sort of curious how they opted for more of a full-body shot for two volumes, and then went back to the close-ups. Can't say I dislike it, though. The close-ups are more interesting, I think. I like her facial expression, haha.

I call fake. Not only is the art style a little bit off, there's a problem with the '6'.
The first volume has one circle behind the '1', the second volume has two circles behind the '2', etc.
Now, mess around with the right circles behind the '6' in Paint or a similiar program. If you were to center a left circle and a right circle between the circles to make six circles, you would indeed not see the left one, but you should see a bit of the right one behind the '6'.
I say the '6' logo was edited from the '5', but the editor didn't correctly change the circles behind the number.

Saki is not based on a H game. But there's a H mahjong game based on it due to it's popularity... You got it the other way around. The storyline isn't that bad either, in My opinion.
