The quality of the photos isn't great.
So, Voronezh Animu Fest (may 2009)... Though I was drunk during the fest, I brought lots of decent photos in my two full 8GB CFs.
There were lots of pretty females, I should say.
Though you could find several cosplay pigs, fat Cirno and fat narutards there as well.

Some of these actually look pretty good to me. Some are obviously poorly made, and a big chunk were clearly half-assed, but, it's cosplay, not something to rage over.

No one is ever going to actually look like someone in an Anime(Besides Mr.Satan on a train), so I don't see why people expect that. They're having fun, apparently, and that's pretty much the whole point of a Con.
I also don't understand why some people are surprised there are fat anime fans. Obesity and sitting at your computer all day downloading shit and stuffing your face pretty much go hand in hand.

Actually, quite a few of the costumes are accurate compared to the "pros" the Japanophiles and weeaboos on Sankaku worship. Cosplay all depends on costume quality and not what the person looks like.

Sankaku treats all countries with equal amount of focus of laughter and disgust. :) "It's always Russia" just like "it's always Japan" and "it's always China" and "it's always America" and etc. Humans are just like that.

Russians are hot. Even a lot of these female ones are still better than I expected from cosplayers of any country. I usually don't expect much from cosplay galleries in general.
