Mercedes Loli Faery Princess Figure

Superb PS2 RPG Odin Sphere is finally giving rise to some stunning figures, and probably the most moeful of them all is this rendition of doomed faery princess Mercedes, along with her frog companion.
The figure is a non-scale sculpt (18cm high) of her, and is by Yamato.
It would have been nice to see her crossbow given a proper crystal finish, but otherwise the figurine seems completely accurate. The only thing missing is the charmingly cheeky voice of the original seiyuu…
Kaeru (Prince Ingway trapped in amphibian form) is included as an added extra, and is as faithfully realised as Mercedes herself, if not quite as appealing.
Mercedes goes on sale in August; pre-ordering is advisable.
Those who have not yet played the game should be advised it is near the pinnacle of RPG and story telling finesse on the PS2, and is easy to recommend. Both English and Japanese versions (with a star seiyuu cast) are now available cheaply.

I hate it when one company makes a figure from a series, and another makes another character from the same series.
Alter made a splendid gwendolynn and they should have bought the rights for mercedes and velvet as well.
You can bet this one looking quite meh when the "release" real photos are out.

The Gwen figure is superior by far. Not that this one is bad, it is really beautiful. Just shows how good the Gwendolyn fig is.

...She wouldn't. She simply wouldn't. Our world will be perfect, so there is no reason for her to desire anything else outside. If she did express the wish though, for whatever reason, I would merely reason with her and use the proper restraints until she sees that things are perfect.

I've seen this fig around and it doesn't look all that great, to be honest. The face could've been more accurate and she looks too "old" compared to the Mercedes in the game. Just like the other Odin Sphere figurines with Gwendolyn, this one is a big PASS for me.
Like hell the game is available cheaply, I saw it at my local EB games for $45 used D:

Try to find a cheap copy of Ico, Silent Hill 2, or; dare I say; a copy of FFVII. Great games are hard to find when no one trades them in.
Also EB and Gamestop love to put the screws to everyone with their trade-in program.
Well, it seems this game is a greatest hits title, so new it should cost $20US. Maybe its scarce in your location?
