First episode was made of awesome.
It hooked me instantly. Though I needed a few minutes to catch on.

Translation: I don't really have any original ideas or strong opinions about anything, but I knew I was supposed to like it, so I kept watching until I liked it.

Actually, as a film student, episode 00 hooked me instantly. I was hoping it was going to be a series about wacky kids making stupid movies. Or a series about dancing.
Either way, I came out of the experience a big fan of the franchise (I have Aya's debut CD to prove it.... don't buy it, it sucks)

The amount of detail they put into that episode was fun as heck. I had fun trying to spot all the mistakes in the episodes that usually happen to real beginners when filming movies. Plus the horribly bad editing. Imho it was one of the best episodes of the series. What's not to like? It's certainly a 'fresh idea', as you say. Of course, I suspect that the average anon on here never even touched a proper camera. :p

This wording is unusual coming from Artefact. Surely you could not have overlooked the fact that he has already watched it ten times over during the past night.
The whole thing is easy to explain:
-Taking pics takes a fraction of a second
-When you don't watch subs, there's plenty of time in the commercial breaks.
Not to mention: he probably recorded the whole thing while taking pictures :)
