My squire is nicer than 3/4th of the japanese fender jazz basses i've played. better pickups, neck, same bridge, same tuners, and the frets are curved and spaced properly. It was half the price of the Japanese fender. :P

OMG. That Mio cosplayer is *fugly* plus she's doing it wrong. Aside from the fact that Mio is left handed, she's holding the bass on a very high angle which is uncomfortable to play. On the last picture she's holding the bass neck like a fucking guitar. You can't reach the E string with your hand like that. Then she's got her fingers between the neck and the first pickup. EPIC FAIL.

Fair enough they aren't the greatest cosplayers but hell, I'd like to see all those who commented making a better effort. I think they totally forgot that Mio's eyes are a blue color and Yui's eyes are a golden brown, and her hair is a golden brown too. They both failed.
