Amateur musician moe anime K-ON!’s bassist Mio Akiyama and guitarist Yui Hirasawa are skilfully cosplayed here by cosplayers Minatsuki Naru and Misaki, complete with appropriate instruments (almost).

FUCKING FAIL.
imposter-mio has fucking huge jaw-line, which would be fine out of context, but when trying to look like a fucking PERFECT 2D character it just reaches near neanderthal proportions in my mind.
Captain!! Caaaaaaaaaaave Maaaaaaaaannnnn!!!
could have been much better.
They're too Japanese to look like the characters from the show
Uh... are you stupid? The show is about Japanese high school girls. Anime is made by Japanese animation companies and the drawings are based off Japanese features; big almond shaped eyes, round faces with gentle pointed chin, tiny button noses and a slender figure. DUH!
I don't think these girls have souls. If they did, they might actually emote in a picture or two.
2d wins.
Fail, mio don't have gigantic jaws and also have a little more volume in her hair. Do not want please.
omg...so fugly :S
DO NOT WANT!! DX
Wow, I'd like to enjoy the pictures but I can't get over how pathetic calling real life '3D' is.
I was expecting to see a Gibson Les Paul in Yui's hands after the preview of Mio holding a J-Bass. Kinda dissapointing.
Yui is NOT FAT. >=[
like heard the yui cosplayer say..."I can eat as much as I want and not gain any weight"
fat
MIO IS LEFT-HANDED. Cosplay is still not perfect.
2d > 3d
That is all.
I don't actually watch this show (yet) so I'd say my view on this is pretty unbias
They're both pretty bad cosplays, the second one not as bad, but the first is terrible
She's too manly for this
http://www.sankakucomplex.com/wp-content/gallery/linkinstreet-misc/akiyama-mio.jpg
This one is much better, albeit still not good enough
Kaaay. So wrong guitar for Yui and wrong handed bass for mio. Point loss. 7/10 for cosplayers
Minus 6 for not being cute enough
Plus 1 for effort
Plus 1 for not being immensly fat
Thus this = 3/10
megusta como retrataste la foto del sol con la gitarra
Que?
I respect the attempt but the delivery FAILS 100% Very few people are suited in my opinion to be considered "3D Anime Girls"
i thought mio was fit?
these cosplayers think otherwise
i leik the guitars
Mio uses a lefty fender...
Omg....
Whats up with mios face? its so fucking long ewwww
DNW!
I'd make a move on mio's cosplayer.
Doesn't Yui use a Les Paul? Also she doesn't look anything like her.
WHAT THE HELL THAT ISN'T A PAIR OF CASTANETS
INACCURACY DETECTED
Yui had too many sweets.
THIS
MIO IS A LEFTY! COSPLAYER IS NOT A LEFTY!
At least they whip out a Fender for Mio, but Yui...
still a waste of bass
instruments are meant to be played, not COSplayed
Where's Mugi, Ui, Nodoka, and AZUSA THESE ARE THE FUCKIN BEST WHO CARES ABOUT THESE TWO FUCK THEM ALL.
Gawd, all the Mio cosplayer's faces in every pic have the same (misporpotioned-looking) position, makes it look like they're all shopped.
Can anyone spell Fail here?
Yes, easily. P-H-A-I-L....
I'm on the 'do not want' bandwagon, teh sex0rs they aren't...
I love the view and the pose on picture #13.
http://www.sankakucomplex.com/wp-content/gallery/cache/40172__468x_misaki-yui-02.jpg
And I love their guitars.
That's all though...
mio's cosplay is ok ... though yeah big ear lobes are big ... should of hidden them ..
and YUI~! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I weap at the injustice that is done here ... yui is a cute retard ...
they're doing it wrong.
The characters from slice of life animes are surprisingly some of the most difficult to cosplay well.
NO NO NO NO NO NO
Fender 62' is the prettiest thing on those photos though...
Screw you Sankakucomplex. Screw you.
where~ is~ the~ les paul~~~~???
ah well, at least the guitar looks good.
both of them are one word FAT
Wow guys, I just read through a lot of the comments and you're all being really bitchy for no reason. Fair enough they aren't the greatest cosplayers but hell, I'd like to see all those who commented making a better effort. Go out and buy yourself the frickin right guitar and skinny yourself down to the "perfect" cosplay, then maybe you can prove your point.
And Yui cosplayer isn't fat, she just has a round face! Wanna burn your eyes with truely bad cosplaying, go look at this:
http://pix.motivatedphotos.com/2009/1/24/633683888419582635-fatcosplayers.jpg
and then you'll maybe appreciate that at least these girls made some sort of an effort.
I don't think they're cosplays are amazing, but they're still cute in their own way. Flame me if you like, I don't care. I'm off to find aliens and time travellers foo! \(>3<)/
Contrary to popular belief, one can have a valid opinion about another persons ability without having more ability themselves.
