Sexy Real Image Yoko

With those characters whose images have now been illustrated and sculpted in every conceivable pose and costume, only an original creation can really garner much attention; Yoko is one such character, and this “Real Image” Yoko, by Max Factory, tries to reimagine the character in realistic style with truly impressive results.
The figure itself is a not unusual 1:6 scale PVC model of Yoko, due for release in September.
The obvious point of note is her striking “realistic” features, something which has been done before, but with results which leaned much more heavily towards the “real” end of the spectrum.
Pre-orders are open, so those looking to acquire her will want to get secure theirs promptly.

Seriously? "Sexy"? This? It's all muddled-- it doesn't know whether it wants to be animu or "real" and therefore becomes this awkward thing in the middle.
It is balanced. The anime end is well covered, and the highly realistic version loses much of the appeal. It seems any departure from staid anime styling these days incites strong reactions - I am reminded of the recent Saber figure...
And anything with Yoko in it practically guarantees being called "sexy" on account of bikini and hotpants, surely?
At first, I was very skeptical of this figure, mainly due to the past unsuccessful attempt to deliver the "real" effect. It goes without saying that this addition to the Yoko merchandise torrent is certainly worthy of praise.
