Father Arrested for Buying Prostitute for Virgin Son

A father who attempted to procure a prostitute to take his 14-year-old son’s virginity had the singular misfortune to proposition an undercover police woman, who promptly arrested him for attempting to have his son have sex with a harlot.
The man (42), a Polish resident of the UK, apparently had it in mind to relieve his son of his virginity with the aid of a common prostitute, and the son apparently agreed.
He soon took his son out for a spot of curb-crawling on night, and approaching a likely looking lady asked the boy “Will she do?”, to which came the answer “Yes.”
The father then commenced haggling with the lady over the price, but was soon interrupted by the arrival of the local constabulary, who promptly revealed the strumpet to be nothing but part of a sting operation.
Finding himself in court, he could only shamefully admit the charges, and received leniency in the form of a 10 month suspended sentence.
The judge chided him thus:
You have a duty of care towards your son and that is to look after his moral welfare, not to break him in to sex by way of a prostitute.

I've read many times that this wasn't so unheard of in Europe. I've even seen a European movie or two where it happened or almost happened. I've seen one where a kid's mother, who's a prostitute, get's her prostitute friend to take her son's virginity, like it was just ushering in his manhood... I think the movie was "Mama Roma" or something. It's kind of old, but it's a pretty good movie.
The only reason I'd be against this is if the woman wasn't hot (lol), and because I'm not so into the idea of prostitutes. But then, it seems like casual sex happens all the time these days with a ton of people anyways. So, whatever, I think a 14 year old can decide if he wants to wait or if he just wants to give it up to a prostitute... though he should know about his options first and what he could loose/gain, he should be taught about all of that and understand that. Some people don't make a big deal out of their virginity like others and I think either way is ok, it's their own choice. He should understand that he could get emotionally attached to a woman even from a one night stand.
I just wish that if a boy that has gone through puberty and is fortunate enough to make good friends with a younger girl or an older woman and has consensual sex with her that it would be seen as ok by society.
And the father may have been stupid or wrong, but I don't think he deserved to go to jail for it. He got pretty damn unlucky though... if he had gone with anyone else the kid would have scored by now and life would have gone the same on for everyone.
