... what has hapend recently is a boom in the last one we need a more balenced and better plot as most are quiet weak on plot

You know, I seen people call the slightest of things "fan service" and they go on ranting about it.
And that's what I was specifically referring to.

I liked Mnemosyne. It was pretty good (dark and sexy), had a retro feel to it, but something about the way it eventually played out left me less than satisfied. :shrugs:

Tears to Tiara is turning up to be the kind of show i expected... The latest shit i watched without any fanservice in it was DMC and it was fucking retarded even when the style's different. (In a good way)

no no, I don't want you to keep waiting, it was just a suggestion... ah well. i guess there really isn't much to check out this year if you want to avoid fanservice... I'd probably just check out some old goodies I've missed out on if I had the time.

Fanservice anime is in it's own category, like hentai is. If you can see an anime will be obviously full of fanservice, just ignore it and wait for something more of your taste. I'm sure there is still a good anime or two even this day in age. GitS SAC was made after 2001, for example. Good things are just harder to come by, it's pretty much always been that way with everything. It's probably just your perspective.

if they make fanservice anime more today than ever before, then it must mean it's because they're successful to some significant extent. an anime publisher/producer/director has the choice of going for easy profit with an ecchi anime or actually trying to make a good anime with a risk of great success or fail. the amount of ecchi anime in the market shouldn't have an impact on that person's decision...

also sayonara zetsubou sensei is good, and gets a fair amount of fanservice here and there.

i've watched a few other animes, but they were just not worth. i agree with the fact that the "old ones" with poor graphic and less pantsu were amazingly better; it may be because i grew watching them, but it can't be the only reason. As a matter of fact, also, robot disappeared from modern animes. abnormal situations are not there anymore, it's just school life for the most. And this is kind of disturbing.

Wait no longer. Watch Eden of the East.

And I actually prefer the animation of Hatsukoi Limited too. I hate the atypical Kyo Ani style. Boring.

And for being a music centred anime...... even the opening and ending theme of Hatsukoi is better.

LOL! - no really I agree with all the Positive "Hatsukoi Limited" comments - and you gotta admit there's infinitely MORE fan service and drama in "H_S"

However, I am a fan of the simple cuteness that is "K-On!" I know what I'm getting with "K-On!" MOE-Moe-Kyun!, Ritsu's Moxie, Mugi-chans eyebrows, and Yui's awkwardness. It's MOE done right!

I have a taste for both! Plus, some of the girls from "K-On" over-lap into "H_S" so it's good to be a fan of both. I'd like more Fan Service on K-On and more awkward cutness on "H_S". I actually want to see Saki & Mio deal with getting tenticled and slimed with that green ooze that eats clothing....that would be AWESOME!!!!

Maybe watch Beast-Kun try to explain particle physics to Yui? or see episode #3's pervert in "H_S" life up Mugi's skirt?....see, You can Merge the two!
