It would look a hell of a lot more like Kyou if she would scowl, or at least give some facial expression that looked anything like tsuntsun. Honestly, the one thing that any of the people in these galleries could do to improve their cosplay is to learn to use more facial expressions.

This LOOKS like a nice cosplay but she doesn't act like Kyou Fujibayashi at all. With all those smiles it looks like a really fake Kyou to me. Cosplay is not only to put on a wig and eye contacts, you also need to ACT like the character, and that's where she fails.
I agree here, she got stuck in a 'generic' mindset--basically, 'camera faces'--instead of cosplaying Kyou. I wonder if this is a tendency of veteran cosplayers over novices? Or is this exception, not the rule?
