As we have come to expect, the latest Code Geass DVD, the ninth, brings with it a slew of improvements, not least of which are a variety of curious changes to the facial expressions of characters major and minor.
The images on the left are the broadcast version.
Not as many changes as the last DVD (practically a remake) were apparently in evidence, but the 23rd (above) and 25th (top) had a number of changes.

I don't see it as an improvement, just bizarre looking in a different way.
What about the last scene? How does the driver look like as there was confusion if it was Lelouch or not. Just wondering if they drew his face better or something.

Certainly not as severe as the last changes where entire scenery was redone and even details in hair and clothing were redefined.
It appears mostly relegated to the head and face.

The only improvement that R2 needs is for "PEOPLE LIKE YOU" to not exist. R2 was full of twist and epic story. The first season can't even compare to the second season.

Most I would say it is an improvement, some I don't see why... Would have been fine to leave it as is. Schneizer's changes puzzles me! He looked so much better in the TV version.

is any decent fansubbing group doing these dvds? Cause all I can find is blu-ray rips and they are too big in size (I would ask the same question about Gundam 00 dvds, but then again, I didn't see it featured here so I guess they didn't improve the quality)
