actually, I even think they try to make it look noticeably censored, so that more people know and buy the DVD to see the real goods.

I honestly think part of the reason is to make people want to buy the DVD, by making them know it's been obviously censored.

^^^ the ultimate question. I'm crossing my fingers for the next episode. But it kind of makes me sad when I think about how there only 10 or so episodes left, 20 minutes each, and like 20 women/girls to cover/uncover with them. And that's probably just if it's successful, right? I really hope Cattleya gets good screen time.

It makes no sense to me either why no one is subbing this. It also makes no sense to me how everyone (outside of Sankaku at least) is saying that this anime has zero plot, doesn't make sense, is boring, a pointless waste of time, and that it sucks.

There IS a plot, and it's comprehensive. Everything was comprehensive. It's just not such a great plot, although it's a pretty awesome one as far as ecchi anime goes (for me, in more ways than just plot, this stuff already beats Kanokon, Ikkitousen, and every other ecchi anime I've seen since I was 12).

And doesn't make sense? It's one of the most simple and easy to understand plots ever. Were people so shocked after seeing leina piss herself in the first 5 minutes that their brains shut down until the explosion at the end? Why does it not make sense to people how melona's boobs exploded? How hard is it to figure out that melona is not human and is made of jelly/acid? Do you need a character watching from the sidelines to explain every detail to you, since you can't think for yourself, like some other famous anime do (god I hated dragon ball Z)? Maybe it's just that massive, deep, convoluted, and twisted plots make more sense than extremely simple plots to these people? Forget ecchi anime, few anime with or without ecchi have very good plots.

I really don't care if people don't like it, just don't watch it (I mean, why did you if you knew anything at all about it before watching it? Did anyone watch the traier? Why even give this a shot if you know you want plot over boobs?). I saw some people actually complain that there were too many boobs on the screen. I can't even begin to wonder why those people wasted time dling it in the first place. But it's just that some of these people are subbers, or subbers that are thinking no english speakers want to see this anime.

If Kanokon, Ikkitousen, and other ecchi anime before this (many with worse plot, characters, music, art, quality, etc) can get good, comprehensive fansubs, why can't Queen's Blade?

And yeah, I care about understanding ecchi anime. Often, it adds to the ecchiness when I knew what's going on. It's hot to see boobs exposed in an otherwise casual setting. A boob pops out, everything continues naturally and no one mentions it. Good ecchi stuff right there. Besides, like I said, I don't think the plots all that bad. I'm liking the characters for more than one reason, and I'm interested to see what will happen to them and what they'll do next.

As far as this being borderline hentai, and the closest ecchi anime has ever come to hentai: why? Because leina's boobs were casually exposed for the first 10 minutes? Or because she pissed herself? I'd still say Kanokon is closer to a hentai than this is so far. No one has even attempted fucking anyone is this, while in Kanokon there were many scenes that made you seriously think it'd end in rape (of Kouta). And some scenes in Kanokon practically did look like sex scenes.

Their blood flow is directed away from their heads, making them unable to concentrate.. and thus it's either no subs at all.. or rather poor ones.

Or well, that's my theory at least.

It's being subbed by Aasasubs who aren't known for their quality; but then again, it's not like anyone's expecting this to be a quality anime, either.

the style of clothes as well as the pose and model look good as a whole. definatly an improvement over the nude version. the second one is also better with the cover up, looks aesthetically pleasing.

More people knowing about the anime means more people interested in the anime, and more people interested means more sales of the expectantly better DVD, which means more queen's blade in the future. So, I totally approve of this.

You mean officially? No, it was never labeled a hentai. Most people think it's a borderline hentai, but I personally don't see it going that far.
