First Mio Akiyama Cosplay

The first cosplay rendition of Mio Akiyama to attain any exposure surfaces, and it has received mixed reactions from fans, although certainly has promise.
This is by Chamaro-san. Mio’s bass guitar may be expensive, but we can but hope she includes one in any future efforts, along with some additional Photoshop work for the unrealistic professional look.

The third one is definitely the best of the three.
Second Mio disgusts me, you can see all the bones in her neck and shoulder. Seriously, she should eat... that looks so painful to even be alive at that point.

I really do want to cosplay Mio. I wish I had the right bass, but mine's a dark blue/green, so I think it'd work.

great costume, but worn on the wrong person. She doesn't have the face for it whatsoever and the design is very reliant on the face.
Nice try but not quite there yet. It would probably need a little smaller and cutter girl. But since Mio seems to become very popular am certain than we will find the perfect 3D Mio.
Pretty impressive. She will not be the last, I predicted a deluge of K-On! cosplays soon in next 2 years from now.

I too think Ritsu's better than Mio. I mean, i'm talking about cosplayers in here, ok ? not a chance i'd prefer 2d ritsu over Mio. It's probably because obviously there are some differences in the faces, and the 3d ritsu resembles her character more.
as said, 3d mio lacks moeness. And it's not even so appealing. But still, we're talking about first attempts, and we have high hopes.

she did have the right hair length & head and face shape as Ritsu. I admit she wasn't very MOE but she atleast wasn't repugnant- I mean we could instantly recognize it was Ritsu- lol.
The girl looks so skinny, more like a walking skeleton. Plus she lacks in moe faction.

Artefact and the other writers commented much more often in the past. Maybe they are not that much interested, dont have much time. Or, that is what i expect, they dont feel like commenting because of this immense mass of crap comments.
I like the cosplay. But to be nitpicky: the face doesn't fit that much. xD But that is hard to change... or at least way too expensive for some moments of otaku fame :P
