Korean Attacks Missile Protestor

when-koreans-attack.jpg

A storm has erupted after video of a Japan-resident Korean attacking a Japanese protestor was posted online.

The protest was criticising North Korea’s missile test diplomacy and the role Japan’s Korean population has in supporting the North Korean regime.

The van and accompanying right-wing orator are complaining about North Korea’s latest efforts to intimidate Japan by firing missiles over its territory; in this case the missile did not fall onto Japanese territory, but alarm at nearly nuclear armed North Korea and its ongoing missile program is growing in Japan.

He also highlights the role of Zainichi Koreans (Japan’s largest ethnic minority, most of whom now have Japanese citizenship, but who still face discrimination in some cases) in supporting the North Korean regime through organised crime.

He makes particular reference to the widely known Korean dominance of pachinko parlours (90% of these establishments are said to be owned by Koreans, with half of those operated by supporters of North Korea), which supports Pyongyang with billions of yen in remittances.

However, right wing groups in Japan are themselves known to have shady connections, although the details of this protestor’s ties are not known.

After finishing his speech, he was approached by a youth of Korean descent, who objected to his complaints about the missiles.

Prior to the altercation the exchange between the Korean (who is speaking Osaka accented Japanese) and the orator runs as follows:

Zainichi: Come on and say that to my face.
Orator: As I was saying, Korea-
Zainichi: Your breath stinks, shut up.
Orator: What? Then you shut up. Don’t come over here and talk to me.
Zainichi: It stinks, shut the hell up!
Orator: Typical Korean tactic. What’s wrong with you?
Zainichi: What the-, Korean?
Orator: What the hell is the wrong with you!?
Zainichi: Don’t underestimate Koreans!
Orator: You’re disgusting. Stay away from me. Don’t talk to me. Just what is it you want to say?
Zainichi: You just insulted Koreans didn’t you!?
Orator: Because I hate Koreans. I hate them. Really hate them. Completely hate them. So I want to see them driven out of Japan. Ok? Trash. Korean-
Zainichi: I’ll kill you! (knockdown attack) You bastard! Trash, you say?!
Orator: Violence is wrong, wrong. I’m being attacked… Ow ow ow…
Zainichi: What!? Mess with Korea and we’ll kill you!
Orator: Stop this violence…

Police quickly subdued the man and the orator was able to gleefully resume protesting, now highlighting the wicked ways of Koreans with the incident firmly in hand.

The orator appears to have been delighted with the attention and probably realised this sort of conduct represents a substantial publicity coup.

As with so many Korean patriots, behaving credibly when confronted with national criticism proved problematic for the man concerned, although clearly the orator was not afraid of provoking the Korean further.

The media and commenters are generally keen to highlight this violent and illegal behaviour from the Zainichi Korean, without too much concern given to the problematic nature of generalising all Koreans from a single Osaka thug, although in fairness such behaviour is far from isolated.

Any element of provocation on the part of the orator also appears to be overlooked, although he was certainly well within his rights to express himself freely in that fashion.

It seems Koreans are generally their own worst enemy when it comes to making Korea look bad…

    they only difference between them is their politics in their country where they live. thats it. in the 1950's they where in one country. but a civil war broke out. one side was Communist backed up by the former USSR the other capitalistic/democratic backed up by the USA. thats it. they killed each other for a few years and now live in separated country's. and thats it. they are all still KOREANS.

    People make me sick. The hate is pointless. We are all human beings. We are not our government. We are not our country. We are human beings and in that we are all the same.

    If you insist on hating, hate an individual for that individual's beliefs and wrongdoings. Don't hate a group of people based on stereotypes and your ignorance.

Japan whose heritage has long been built on a basis of honor and warrior code (primarily around ww2) gladly admires that spirit that the Germans exhibited. Of course though they hesitate to glorify the darker side of Germans lol and koreans FTW k thx gtfo haters

    That´s funny, Japan gives billions of dollars to it´s neighbouring countries and in return, they build a museum to stimulate the hatred, going as far as depicting photos of a korean serial killer´s victims as if the japanese army had killed them at WWII.

    If you think Korea is a great place, I ask you this, what would happen if a japanese living in korea smacked someone protesting against Japan? I don´t think we would ever see him again. Koreans are soooo civilized and corageous that they choose to slay a bunch of birds (afterall, birds are such vicious and perilous man-eating creatures) in front of the japanese embassy as a form of protest.

    And if Japan tried to test a missile or a nuke, I bet the UN would probably have occupied Japan by now.

    About lying about the past, america is a favorite at this. More native americans were killed then jews on the holocaust and it still is praised as the birth of a great nation, a land of liberty and equality.
    Also, no american has commited any war crime, not even:

    - two a-bombs;
    - Shooting people in the water after sinking their boats;
    - Killing children with bayonets and explosives;
    - torturing prisioners (in the past and now);
    - removing entire populations to use their land as test sites;
    - giving radioactive pills to eskimos to test it´s effects;
    - endorsing the killing spree in the Turkish-Armenians fo political reasons;
    - betraing allies;
    - ignoring the UN;
    - invading other countires on a whim, etc, etc...

    Pass your arm around his neck from the back and choke the bastard until he loses consciousness. Granted, the old man was playing it correctly to his propagandistic favor, but when did they all forget how to defend someone else from violence?

    The police officers were pretty bad too, they shouldn't need 5 people to subdue the man, showing how most the time the police enforces by authority alone, but find themselves inept or crippled when someone defies their authority.

    Also, both the old man and the youngling are at faul here. The old man is a xenophobic and the young one is a patriotistic fanatic.

    Granted that the Korean dude acted like a complete ass, and this kind of stuff is making Koreans look bad, where we should just get over it. BUT, most of you people on this site JUST DON'T GET IT. I'm saying it for ALL parties of the matter. BOTH FOR AND AGAINST JAPANESE AND KOREANS. The way I see it is that a Japanese guy acting racist and a Korean guy came and gone on his level. So with all due respect Mr. Artefact, BOTH the JAPANESE and KOREAN had been BOTH racist in this issue. What bothers me, is that even though this article is NOT racist AND/OR biased against Koreans, it is NOT being fair with Koreans either. This is practically the same with all the articles Artefact made concerning Koreans and Chinese. I won't call this site nor the author racist, but to be honest you are NOT being, fair and well understanding either. This goes the same with any one for the Korean and post crap about Japanese. To bluntly put it to you Artefact and anyone and EVERYone like him (again BOTH FOR AND AGAINST JAPANESE AND KOREANS), you're showing favoritism. That's with these kind of articles and responses on this damn site, you are ALL showing favoritism. You are giving needless and undeserved respect and praise to one country and completely shit on others without really understanding it and where it comes from but so quick to show shame and utter hate for it. Sort of like a international level of primogeniture on one side, and using great comfort to use of kind of infanticide to another, and almost every single one of you on this damn site is responsible for this kind of shit when it comes to these articles. Many of you are acting very uncivil and to many those who are civil, are expressing it in an uncivilized manner. If you think you are more civilized than the Koreans and Chinese you think are assholes and/or so love to hate and bash in these articles about them, then show some restraint and don't bitch about it like they do. this goes the same with the Koreans and Chinese on the Japanese and and anyone else especially a westerner who should in my opinion technically not be and add fuel to this mess either. so to show some contempt, here's bit of an ultimatum for everyone. To the Japanese and those supporting on this, I'm Korean. I can't speak for ALL Koreans but, I am a law binding citizen and have been all my life. I respect others as I do respect myself. I greatly respect Japan, it's people and it's culture and do not generalize an ENTIRE group when I observe an isolated incident like the one here in this article. I have never been obnoxious or been a perfectionists. I DON'T distort history in fact I will admit to the mistakes we had in the past. I never ate dogs, cats or any other domestic animals or any animal most people won't consider eating for that matter. I DON'T have a box shaped head and slits for eyes or NOTHING plastic. I never had a plastic surgery in my life (and just so you know, a plastic surgery doesn't use "plastic"). I do NOT represent barely ANY of the characteristics of a stereotypical Korean you people project. And I am deeply ashamed and sadden by the trend many Koreans have prod themselves against others, and wish we world show the world better in a better light and forgive Japan for what they did. But you know what? That still doesn't stop me from being Korean and being proud of it too. You jerks wouldn't know one thing about us if you didn't stop the bull and actually took the time and LEARN without any prejudice, doubt, BAD expectations, nor even concern. But I can't expect mush from you assholes can I. For the Koreans and Chinese and those who supporting on this, I know you are mad at Japan for what they did in the past I understand that, but it's over now. I know it hasn't been THAT long but Japan is a peaceful nation today. And it's and all other Japanese are overall good and nice people who sorry for what they done and show remorse for it too. And I know there are some who are stuck at the past but they don't represent Japan and Japanese as a whole. I know and are friends with many and they don't act like that. Us Chinese and Koreans will serve NO good if we continue this silly and idiotic grudge against the Japanese or any other nation for that matter. It prove people like Artefact and Firetrbe so right, it will be considered fact. And I know we can't have that can we. Being pent up for what was bad in the past is never going to help us for what's in store that's good in the future. I know it's a hard pill to swallow for you but we should give up this childish thuggish act. And be happy that what Japan did then , is not happening now. I will not come off like a jerk and say "get over it" but I'm asking you not as a fellow Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Asian, but a fellow human being, please PLEASE let it GO. And if someone talks crap about you and your people over something like this (speaking for the GOOD Chinese and Koreans on this), DON'T RESPOND. Never let these people get to you. You don't have to prove NOTHING to them. You know what you did. You are aware of your country and the events in her life. The culture, history, the ACTUAL truth, etc. If you know what you did good in your life and what your country did good in her life and have NO regrets, don't show no regrets. Sadly, they won't know that, and they probably NEVER will. Getting in to people like Narcissist and their pitiful, pathetic preschool games will make you no better neither. And I know you aren't preschoolers are you? Just be glad that they are ranting their wasteful lives about this under a computer and not taking it to the streets just like the "noisy" Koreans, Chinese, and Japaneses are in the minority, especially in the internet despite popular misconception. so don't worry. In conclusion, we are playing one of the biggest troll games of the all, and It's getting us NOWHERE to winning. It's like the saying goes: Arguing over the internet is like running in the special Olympics ... even IF YOU win, You re still RETARDED. This can apply to outside life in this kind of situation as well. And in outside life getting into each others throats is making Asia the new Europe. This over-nationalism in ALL countries in the topic are ALL to blame. No more NO less. Aren't we ALL human.

    I know this comment-essay is hella long but it's been bugging me for the longest and I can't hold back on NOTHING. Also people must learn from this and the mistakes we made. I will expect criticism for this and I accept this. But I hope that everyone can agree with me on this notion. The further it is we concentrate on a dark past, the harder it is for us to make a bright future. So to anyone and everyone in sankakucomplex and the internet in general that is read my comment, I give you this cliche, yet misunderstood line:

    "Cant we ALL just get along"

    Please, Please respond!!!

    Sincerely,

    Or to put it more directly:

    This is a SITE OF UTTER TRASH RUN BY A FAILED FAGGOT-LIMEY TABLOID HACK-JOURNALIST (WHO IS ALSO A GENDER-CONFUSED PEDOPHILE)which caters specifically to all the young people who's parents have UTTERLY FAILED IN THEIR JOB TO RAISE THEM. Some of the kids here also have PERSONALITY,LEARNING AND PSYCHIATRIC disorders that are probably the result of parents ingesting unhealthy substances while pregnant. Many of the kids are well on their way toward FULL BLOWN DYSFUNCTIONAL lives defined by an absence of sex with a live partner and a MOLE-LIKE relationship to the outside world.

    This site is a glorified TABLOID-STORY-REGURGITATOR dressed up as an anime site. You can find all the pictures on the various picture sites through use of GOOGLE. You can also find all the ORIGINAL "stories" by clicking the source material (whenever Artefact has the presence of mind to list it). They are about 90% originating from the shittiest tabloids that England, America, Japan and Russia have to offer. (The Russian source is PRAVDA, which everyone knows is about half-tabloid.) OCCAISIONALLY they will regurgitate stories from reputable sites but they have a tendency to misquote them...lol.

    You can also find all the anime and game info from the ORIGINAL SITES (with MORE pictures)without having to deal with Artefact's tiresome verbal diahrrea spilled all over it.

    When did "Korea" became "North Korea"? South and North should really fight back this shit. Do not mess with Korea, the day they will be one under the Juche flag once again you'll find a knife waiting in the dark of the next corner - and i am talking about every single one of you. MANSE.

    Thankfully nobody wants to invade the wretched little country in the north because it would ruin the economy of the south to have to integrate it...

    I live in Norway, so I don't really know..'bout all this Korean hate and shiet.
    But I wish that Korean would've punched that racist bastard. Yes, he made himself look utterly ridiculous. But still, provoked on purpose or not, you don't just stand there and take that kind of sh*t.

    I think the Japanese guy would've been in trouble in a Swedish court. While it's ok to have a racist opinion what he did to provoke the korean would probably count as harrasment against a nationality/people.

    Both are equally idiotic. The orator's demonstration only mirrors those that I've seen on the Peninsula where dozens of college students stand in front of a US base screaming "YANKEES GO OUT" where as the zainichi was just stupid and didn't do what he should have. Ignored the faggot.

    Koreans most assuredly eat dogs as do a number of other Asian countries. The Chinese are known to eat just about anything, though to be fair much of that is based on the belief that eating an animal transfers some of its characteristics to the consumer. Even the Japanese will eat things (like whales) that most cultures find anathema.

    This is not to say that the majority of these cultures indulge in these exotic diets. Far from. However, there is plenty of evidence that such practices are not uncommon.

    Selective reading for the win? Or have you missed all the critical stories about Rozen Aso, even featuring an ero manga of the Japanese leader?

    Where was the outrage from the Japanese when we *regularly* disparate their political leaders. Where is the outrage when we *regularly* make fun of their attempts to censor loli images or deal with their legions of NEETs?

    And if you re-read even this story, it is critical of both the Koreans in Japan and the Japanese themselves.

    "Privilege"? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

    ...wait let me catch my breath...

    Inciting people directly to take up arms against other people, and inciting panic when there is nothing to panic over are the only legal limitations I have ever been aware of.

    This Japanese guy while making a somewhat distasteful speech (would be far more easy to swallow if he refrained from broad sweeping statements on what Koreans are and just focused on the missile testing+nuclear armament, scary enough shit there with their lack of respect for Japanese airspace) is full well within his rights to say what he did. Does that say that he's not at fault? Not really, but the Korean should have ignored him.

    I have to side with Artefact on this one. The Korean guy confronted the Japanese guy. The Japanese guy's racist talk is protected by law so he is fine, but it the was Korean who was at fault for for getting his face. If it were vice-versa, then the Japanese guy would have gotten canned.

    Freedom of speech is the most mis-understood privilege of all times. The Orater was walking a very gray area, where he intruded upon another's personal space through words. To say he was not to blame would be a mis-interpretation of Freedom of speech.

    Comment by Artefact

    Just to be clear - the Korean was to blame. Attacking people for exercising their free speech is completely unacceptable. If he had been advocating violence against Koreans, that would certainly be a matter for the courts, but as it was he was just ranting about the less savoury aspects of Zainichi Koreans. And racist violence from these people is unheard of.

    You do realize there's something called "verbal abuse" and "verbal violence"? hahahaha, you're talking as if words don't have weight at all, but once they come out of your mouth you can't take them back... Wars have begun with less than this.

    So no, the Korean is at fault for not swallowing this shit quietly like the rest of us minority communities in foreign soil, but the Japanese IS ALSO AT FAULT for verbally abusing this person.

    This is beyond Korea/Japan hate, this is about being civil and respecting each other as human beings.
