Skirt Witches

Going off the design sketches in the original OVA (and gashapon sets), Lynette, Sanya and Eila have skirts, whilst Erica and Trude have shorts (Perrine looks to have a sketch of some, but they aren't there on the gashapon/ sketches), and they don't look too bad.

I could try and grab scans later if ye wish, failing that take a look at the gashapons and you see.

I wouldn't mind seeing an episode with them dressed like this. Plot idea for season two, Yoshika has a terrible nightmare where the unit actually gets dressed...

It's rather disappointing, in that the skirts could have been done better. Only Charlotte and Sanya have skirts that actually match their outfits.

I'm honestly not sure how they managed to mess that one up, as it should be quite easy to come up with a skirt for many of them, as they were patterned after actual military uniforms, the female versions of which did, in fact, have skirts.

Most would remove the clothing but this one added some...

You don't even need to do anything to Sanya or Eila's outfits. They're basically wearing skirts as it is. They're the most conservatively-dressed characters in the show.

Erica, Sanya, and Perrine are a three-way tie for my favorite, by the way. I just wanted to point that out.

No no, that's not right. Perhaps I'm missing the point, but why go to such effort to add skirts? It's like giving Yoko a shirt. Why the insecurity? Their just (wondrous) pantsu. Personally I think modern dress sense should follow the strike girls lead.

If you only watched one ep, your opinion is barely worth notice.

Maybe if they did all wear skirts I would have given the show a chance instead of quiting after 1 episode. XD

In the first picture there skirts look too long. They should have a look at the female military's uniform skirts. What is this church? Look at Minna's LOLZ

Sanya and Eila look good in the skirts. Yoshika's is fine as well, but the shirt should be tucked in.

Gertrude's skirt should be knee-length. Same for Erica, and Erica's skirt needs pleats.

Charlie and Minna's skirts should be form-fitting, with half-slits in the sides. They need a more OL-ish image in skirts, since they're the onee-san of the group.

Perrine, Lucchini, and Lynette need miniskirts.

Mio needs a full pair of pants, but if that's not an option, she should go with short pants.

some are actually well done, like gertrud's skirt but some...i dunno. sonya already has like a skirt, the solution? make it a bit longer?

but in any regard, overall fail wasted time effort to shop skirts.

Most of those look pretty ugly. :/ They don't fit the rest of the outfit.

I prefer the skirts. It leaves something to the imagination and when panty shots do come up they seem like more of a big deal. Well as big a deal as they can be in an anime about fan service.

Also the no pants thing got weird and creepy really fast. They should at least wear something when walking around the base or something.

Sanya and Charlotte both look very good. Though Sanya is still the best.

However, Eila looks somehow unfitting, they should've just kept her in thights.

And Getrud would look better in pants than a long ankle-length skirt. Erica wouldn've also done better with a knee-length form-fitting(i don't know what you all it) skirt than pleated.
