K-On! Pantsu Anime?

Much anticipated musical schoolgirl anime K-On! (or けいおん！/Keion!) has aired, and seems to be very well received indeed. However, aside from the appealing KyoAni character designs and high production values, there is another potential source of appeal: pantsu.
As you can see below, the manga is not afraid of adding service elements…
Will these find their way into the anime proper?

I'm really liking K-on right now. It might be my favorite show of 2009.
High quality? Yeahbuwha-? The animation was Minami-ke quality and looked like half the animation cells were removed for a very jarring and stop and start style animation. Let's not count they are sitting down for most of it or just repeat motions, like their instrument playing.

Just watched the first ep. Seems like it will be pretty fun to watch. Go Light Music Club! Really liked the ending song, too. Hope they do more songs like it. Do all voice actresses know how to sing or what?
I see they hired the same actress who plays Minorin to be Yui.
I'm glad she's decided not to be remembered as a one-character actress, though I'm sad to see the pink hair go.
Not 'seiyuu', the 'actress'.

Tezuka drew the same characters in a lot of his different manga, and sometimes gave them little salaries and contracts to appear in each of his stories. Kinda funny.
Rock is the most widely used character, and even aged throughout the life of the manga Tezuka wrote through the decades.
I think the designs look alot like Min-ke.
Also, by actress, you mean the dude considers his character designs to be single entities, rather than, doing a Rie, and just chaning the hair colour, then you have a new character?
So each character design consitutes a person.
Like Rock Holmes is the same Rock Holmes in each of Tezuka's works. Like he keeps hiring the same guy back to act in his manga.

But to put it simply... I think Minorin looks like Yui, despite the seiyuu.

Did they? ANN says Minorin is done by Yui Horie, but Yui is done by Aki Toyasaki.
And it's already horrendously too late for Horie Yui to be a one-character actress, anyway.

And I thought the manga was good. The anime just takes it to another level. I can seriously die from watching this anime. The cuteness and moe level are to high for my brain to handle to the point that I'm about to explode.

People have often wondered what O-Haruhi-sama would be like as a normal human. Ritsu is the answer. She even has the yellow headband for it.
The "I'LL SATSUGAI YOU!" shot cracked me up. What's more, during the build up for that one moment I was like 'wtf? is Krauser gonna jump out?'. And he did.
Mio... yeah. Hime cut + bass (I play it too)... Too much win in one package.

Did anyone else feel like the main characters are somewhat similar to those in Lucky Star (i.e. Yui = Tsukasa, Mio = Kagami, Tsumugi = Miyuki, Ritsu = Konata, sorta)?
You're right, although it probably has more to do with generic anime characters than anything.
totally man, good thing i read that before i said it myself. i feel the most obvious one is mio/kagami and her whole relationship with ritsu/konata.

Kinda cute, kinda wacky. Still looks like Lucky Star.
The one thing that irks me is how in so many scenes the hands and feet look out of proportion and ridiculously tiny...that reminded me of Akikan. Animation is decent, linework is questionable.
I'm sure they're doing it on purpose to make them look cuter and more innocent. Bigger heads, smaller everything else.
musical anime? of course it'd do well. Isn't the whole reason Hariuhi was popular was because of the opening dance sequence? I used to imagine to myself that the majority of people who watched the show in Japan were like "HARUHI IS ON!", then watched the intro, and ignored the rest of the episode due to a sporadic outburst of dancing. Maybe sometimes their friends jump in out of nowhere to join them.
Yeah, I know that's pretty damn exaggerated, but this is Japan right? lol
Personally I prefer the "live" performance of God Knows and Lost my Music.
Except the famous dance sequence is the ED, not the OP.
Too bad this show isn't in HD or at least initially. I do wonder why they are airing this in SD like Clannad.

It's very charming and possibly addictive! My Favs are Tsugumi & Mio. (She's like a grown-up Shana)- When Mio gets kicked under the table I was totally sold on her.
Where was the Pantsu? it was as tame as "Azumanga Daioh"- but it made up for it in MOE.

and a follow up on watching it.... i must agree with the general consensu.. <3mio~~~~... but is it just me or does.. yui remind you of ushio.. (yeah i know its done by the same people, but i thought there'd b at least some variation)
It was very well animated. Some of Yui's small movements were just so realistic and really added to the feeling of the episode.
I love how when it's Kyoani we're talking about, no one complains about quality (ie. deformed fetus hands ON THE FIRST EPISODE) but mention Minami-ke and everyone pounces on the couple of frames of bad animation that go by so fast you wouldn't even notice if you hadn't been looking for them in the first place.

Yeah, I gotta admit Mio was incredibly hot in the ED video. Loved both her and the ending itself. Watched it 4 times now lol.

as expected from kyoani the OP/ED were great but because is kyoani i doubt there will be any fan service since i have yet to see 1 of their show with pantsu fan service.

Actually both Full Metal Panic and Haruhi had panty shots. FMP: TSR also had a nipple shot (of the twin Chinese assassins). It was the only nipple shot ever in a KyoAni anime. ;_;
In CoalGuys subs, you get to see a little bit of Enma Ai, from Jigoku Shoujo at around 13:21 - 13:23 Just look left... Its small, but you do notice her!

Using 'proper' would be grammatically correct, not to mention the 'ly' is often left out in speech in some dialects of English.

The word is describing "Anime", not "Find" - thus the adjective form is used instead of the adverb form.
