It is our pleasure to announce the latest milestone in the growth of Sankaku Complex: the attainment of 25 million page views, a mere 10 months after the site’s inception, and not so long after the 10 million hit announcement.
The usual thanks are of course due to all those who have visited us, commented, contributed and linked to us. Our success is predicated on your support, for which we are most grateful.
Site statistics are mostly measured using Google Analytics (the huge spike is thanks to Chinese engineering):
Daily unique users are now in the region of 35,000, viewing some 300,000+ pages each day. Additionally, daily users on Sankaku Channel are now in the 7,500 range, viewing another 250,000 pages daily.
For those interested in receiving traffic from us, please take a look at our feed exchange program – you can surely gain some high profile exposure on our sidebar and elsewhere, in exchange for displaying our feed. Several participants report very favourable results.

It's called promotion. Much larger sites do it for much the same reasons. You will continue to see such posts, I'm afraid.
As I have repeated on many occasions, though I take all individual suggestions and preferences seriously, you must understand that 99% of people never even leave a comment.
Understanding user preferences is only possible in the aggregate using statistical tools in a case like this - this usually means looking at what gets hits and using that as a guide to user interest. MADs have always gotten a reasonable amount of hits...
And as to "the 4chan shit" - I presume you mean memes? Generally people show a lot more interest in items presented in this way, but as we don't like to see things degenerate to 4chan levels here, I am restraining the use of such material...

RSS feeds don't count. One reason many sites try to discourage people from reading entire articles in their readers.

I got here through a link on 4chan last November (apparently a Soniko nude filter on /h/ or /e/), ever since then I started to become interested in this site. I've been commenting anonymously and decided to show myself up here earlier this year. =P
