I summarized too much I fear, since the elements of 2ch we deal with in our culture is disproportionately made up of Vippers and not the "Cooking", "School Life" or the endless other boards, and I wanted to keep it simple. ^^;

This is not correct.

2ch is actually a huge constellation of different servers, each hosting certain boards. Many of the boards, and even the servers, have unique cultures and memes associated with them.

One of these is the "VIP" board, and its denizens are called "Vippers" - they have a very unique culture indeed...
