No failed figure collection is complete without SADER.

This, boys and girls, is the poster boy for the failure of modern education, since the whole “30th anniversary of the first Gundam series” part of the post seems to have completely escaped understanding. Reading comprehension skills: not just a metric for testing, but a basic life skill. There’s no excuse for not having them. Edit: Damn it, the board didn’t work right with that last comment.

  • Maria Holic Trap Attack:
Matsurika and Mariya are NEVER that passive – but fortunately for Kanako, the stand-in for most of the male otaku who most enjoy the schoolgirl lesbian shows, Mariya doesn’t read minds… yet. He only just intrudes into her inner monologues. And for all of those who say that’s SHIZU in those pictures, look for the mole on the RIGHT side of his face – that’s how you tell it’s Mariya in those pictures. Which means the ones in denial are the most gay for Mariya.

  • Gov: Strike Witches Wholesome Family Entertainment:
Wholesome? Isn’t it like calling Neon Genesis Evangelion uplifting and prone to make the viewer feel warm fuzzies? Or saying that Cabbage Love was a superbly animated show with high production values?

  • The End of Suzumiya Haruhi? Gekidou Sales a Damp Squib:
That’s the risk of being an eternal cocktease with regards to the fans – do it long enough, and they lose interest and move onto a more accessible franchise. At least with Neon Genesis Evangelion the fans knew the show was over, and all they would have WOULD be the spinoffs, so eagerly bought those merchandise bits-and-pieces, whereas here they’ve kept fans in the dark for years about when the next novel or anime season would show.
