From the animation it seems her head is at the height of the blue squares, but when it's the scene of the entire room, she somehow also magically got shorter.
There is another scene where Chiaki opens the door and it slides to the other side, so it must be a 2-way door. lol
How small are these girls supposed to be? I mean look at her in the group shot, either that's a really tall door or she's short (or does she shrink once the door is opened? - take a look at the panels and where they are in relation to her head during close-up and distance shots).
