The recent release of a Haruka (from Idol Master) costume set for PS3 virtual chikan/stalking simulator PS Home has resulted in some truly disquieting developments:
“Eh, is this a new religion?”
Idol Master could be called such, yes. Time will tell if whatever dark forces keeping it an Xbox 360 exclusive continue their influence.
The truly terrifying thing about all this is that it is said to take four or five hours of roulette playing to obtain each of the costumes you see here…

It just goes to show how much the PS3 crowd is dying for Idolmaster. Namco, hint, hint.
I am considering getting a PSP just so I can play it, non-region-locked.
Well,Microsoft has been trying to to break into the japanese gaming market since the first xbox, The 360 has done horribly there, that at one point Microsoft was gonna give up on them.
Then came Idolm@ster, the best selling 360 game in japan. Sold more 360s then all other games. Its completely obvious Microsoft would never let their bestselling Japanese title fall into "enemy hands".
i wanna go there and be the random pervert otaku
Reminds me of "V for Vendetta"... Maybe they'll be a gang of terrorist/anarchist...
better?
that is scary >w<
Is that some undead army from the abyss?
Crazy bunch of ppl =.=
been doing the roulette around 7 hours, and got 3 of the item, only need boots now XD
Haha that's funny. The same thing will happen when we gets the street fighter IV & Killzone 2 costumes.
That's.....creepy. If I saw that in real life, I'd freak out.
Watches video again *Throws up* urgh anigao
HARUKA!!!!!!
Wow Artefact, you really despise the 360.
Anyway sheep will be sheep.
i think he just likes to incite fanboy rage.
Where did I even deprecate the 360? It seems pretty obvious that a deal is keeping Idol Master off the PS3, it is simple marketing. If Sony had the cash, I'm sure you wouldn't be seeing FFXIII on the Xbox...
Any such slant is basically due to the fact that "anime-type" games are usually produced in Japan with the Japanese market in mind. It is not a deliberate attempt at slighting the Xbox, nor an unconscious bias.
I don't care to engage in console fanboyism - as I said elsewhere though, I certainly hope MS doesn't do too well, as it will be bad for the consumer if Sony is knocked out and MS gets the market entire.
Wait whats Agito?
Lol Microsoft/Xbox fanboy raging.
It just seems that you on average either exclude the 360 (like with that poll comparing PS3 audience and the Wii audience) or have a negative bias against it and the "whatever dark forces keeping it an Xbox 360 exclusive continue their influence" isn't exactly neutral towards Microsoft. So you aren't happy about Agito not being ported towards the 360?
The reason so many games are coming to or moving to 360 now is because it's the most successful console between the two most similar ones: PS3 and 360. They'd be missing a huge market full of money if they left their games on the PS3 simply due to "loyalty". But thanks to Japan you won't see the Playstation dieing any time soon, as the Japanese will probably never give into the 360, even if it's a cheaper console that basically plays the same games that they want on the PS3.
I personally don't care either way, it just seems intentional. The only company I kinda despise right now is Nintendo because they pretty much said screw you to the hardcore gamers.
Oh and I screwed up by saying Agito which is for the PSP, I mean Versus.
My kingdom for an edit button.
if *Square Enix
Ah I miss you Squaresoft. Sadly "Spirits Within" happened. Now there's excuses like X-2 and various edition/remakes being used for half-assed profit. Well their origin as a known company came from a revival, but so far I think another won't be happening. They just aren't the same anymore.
Yeesh, that is uber-creepy. Especially that first video. Behold, the new mask for slasher flicks.
The Harukapocolypse has begun!
Harukapocolypse.. Hey that's easy to type after all.
This is... creepy O_o...
It's like all the Misaka Mikoto in To Aru.
I got my boom-stick with me, who's in to take them out??
How can you destroy an army that's already dead?
To quote Leon in Degeneration: "Shoot them in the head."
Hmmm, good question.
Well, I think we could use the philosopher’s stone to "revive"/make 'em real and then we could use the magic sticks. Pretty simple when you think abaout it... XD
No! We should get a bunch of koreans and zerg rush them!!
Koreafag agrees.
JUST KILL THE DAMN THINGS WITH FIRE.
bah, i say we burn em with fire!
Pisses me off, every time I try to start up glitchy Home, it refuses to connect, I want to join the Haruka Hive Mind too.
zerging zerging
no, you dont want to...
For some unexplainable reason, seeing these pictures, I thought that it was a mass kigurumi cosplay of Haruka with chat photoshopped in!
They are like locusts.
rofll more of those anime mask lookin people.
I think this proves my point!
that thing's a mask!? lolol
that is... absolutely terrifying.
