This gallery is of Kipi, one of the most recognized, if not the best known Japanese cosplayer to foreign audiences.
She is undoubtedly best know for her near infinite portfolio of supreme Haruhi Suzumiya cosplay, but her wonderful portrayals of Asuka Langley Sohryu (getting a separate article too) and Meer Campbell have also seen a wide audience.

Kipi IS Shiori. I remember seeing that set a while back and was very impressed.
But those Undeen and Shana cosplays are immaculate!
Truly one of my favorite cosplayers, and not just because of her name. ;)
I feel she is underrated by some, but, personally, I really see the time and effort she puts into her costumes versus some others whose are perfect to next-to-perfect... I see a little extra time and attention to detail in her work. Truly elite.
she isn't underrated by some, she is just hated by a lot of people, not sure exactly why.
With that said, I haven't seen any new cosplays of hers, since she's in China on an exchange or something like that.
She has a hategroup because people post her alot on /cgl/, THE place for dramu and faggotry.
I think she's wonderful. That last Shana image is day-brighteningly moe. She also works at the same cosplay cafe as my favorite cosplay idol. <3

The folks at /toy/ are usually worth trusting though.

I'd just say they're jealous.
A lot of people discount her for her facial and bodily features, but her cosplay creation skills make an excellent overall package, in my opinion.
And I meant 'undine'. ^_^;;
I used to have a phone made by 'Undeen'.
From what I can see, her body seems fine.
cgl hates her because she:
1) doesn't make her own costumes (she gets them for free)
2) is shooped within an inch of her life
3)is paid to cosplay/model (and we all know cgl is full of sandy vaginas)
She isn't shoped, that was profen so many times already. Special since there are many long videos of her existing at conventions and such, she looks at the videos the same as always. Also you can see photos of her making almost everything of the custumes herself on her blog.
You can Photoshop videos, too, you know. xD
Also, unless there's some week-long video of her sewing and making her costumes, she could just be posing with materials. :/
You're...aware she doesn't make her own costumes, correct? She's a "promotional" model, I think. You've gotta love some of her cosplays, but it gets old after seeing the same expressions over and over again.
Her teeth kinda screws it up, otherwise she does a decent cosplay job.

Most Japanese girls have weird nashers.
pretty in the face, but the teeth is awkward which is very recognizable when comparing pictures of them with other asian nationalities.
As far as a lot of cosplayers go, it isn't that terrible, I think.
Been a long time since I watched chobits, but I don't think Chii's uniform was red.
Liked the Tenma the best for some reason.. now go find me a Yakumo :)
Indeed, Tenma was portrayed quite nice (ah sweet Tenma <3). The Shiori from Kanon cosplay was exceptionally good too. The garment selection was on the spot.

I agree! She is amazingly beautiful! I don't care if her teeth aren't the best, she's beautiful anyway! I like pretty much all of her photos, especially the ones of Misa Amane! (I am a HUGE Death Note fan!) From what I've heard, she is a really nice person as well! I really wish I could be with someone like her!!! One day, I want to fly to Japan and maybe go on a date with her! It probably will never happen, but I really hope it will! :D

But as me and my friend (who is a huge Saya fan) were talking, for us elder fans, we prefer mature looking cosplayers, which is why we tend to skip her.
But then again there are some cosplays that is just made for her, like the Shana one.

Her cosplay is amazing! She pulls off so many of them well. The teeth don't bother me a all.

Sorry, i think she is awful. I only know a few of the anime characters, but looking at mikuru she is god awful. I dont see a likeness in any of these cosplays and well.. isnt that the point of cosplay?

Too much makeup on her eyes for a lot of the pics. It's like she has multiple borders added to them. To me it makes her look old and I guess "average". Well it might be difficult to find since she's an "idol", but are there any pics of her with no "doll" effects?
Just look at her videos on tuna.be she made with her handy, she don't even wear that much makeup besides the eye one.

She does seem quite cute as Rin Kagamine and Meer Campbell, but the rest just doesn't seem to suit her very much. Either way, I think she is definitely one of the better cosplayers than the rest of them. But I still liked Saya more then Kipi..... >.<
The costumes and poses are excellent, but I find her eyes rather unnerving. In several shots, they look almost completely black.

Well, yes I think she IS a good cosplayer.
NO, I do NOT worship her like some ppl here do for two reasons:
1. There's a LOT of Photoshop involved here.
2. She ALWAYS has the same generic smile on her face - that's cute for the first 10 pictures. But eventually it gets very creepy to always see the same expression...
