Some of the "realistic" looking ones do have the "anime-inspired" look to their eye... maybe they just look too perfect like Anime... But there are definitely art styles that are like that in Japanese "anime" games, or anime/manga series...

I think there are more and more anime moving away from the traditional "big" eye, and opting for a more "refined" look... I think it's more prevalent in Korean artist though like Hyung-tae Kim's stuff...
