So it starts from the beginning? No continuation from where the movie left off? I wasn't very satisfied with that ending. Well, it was okay but Winry didn't end up with Ed. Too bad. Well it'll be cool to see Lin. He's one of my favorite characters.
The Lin and Furher sword fight is going to be epic. Almost all of the later battles just blow everything else earlier in the series away.
Ah I've seen the advertising for this while watching err was it Tales of the Abyss?
Looking forward to it :)
Nice to see more FMA even if its a do over.
It not really a do over, the manga and 1st season plot is completely different
finally, I've been waiting for this since last April XD
Its not a version 2 where they redo everything its a redo as they will change some things.
I hope the music is well well placed.
i
-Sorry- ^_^;;;
I only liked Negima: The Remake, slightly more than I liked the original.
Which isn't saying much, because I could only stomach two or three episodes of either...
Still, I can't understand the reasoning behind these remakes, at least in this manner.
Why not wait twenty years down the road and do an anniversarial remake then.
Gegege Kitaro did sort of the same thing with some of it's spinoffs, and look what it's done for them.
We'll see what this does for the FMA enterprise.
Take that, KyoAni! Learn something from Bones!
Only gonna watch it because of rie... even though al isnt a tsundere.... unless he is in the manga o_o|
looking forward to it =3
Saw this on TT yesterday. Loved the first season and if they follow the manga more closely this time if will be even more amazing.
Too bad it's only 16sec
Loved the first series, the I read the manga and was a little disappointed, then I found out the mangaka just didn't want two different media ending the same way so it was ok
Although in the anime they mention "him" and act all scared, but they never explain it and just go off on their own story
Anyway, can't wait for this
They're gonna mess it up bad. I just have this feeling.
I hope i won't be right this time though.
More than likely.
Full Metal Alchemist was pretty meh anyway though.
Heh, I'd have expected you to post this days ago. Backlog?
There has indeed been a bit of a backlog with some of the downtime.
We already covered the announcement of it being in April so it warrants a reduced priority.
can't wait ^^
As I mentioned elsewhere, this answers alot of fans' question about how Bones is handling the series. We now know that Bones is starting from the beginning as we see Ed losing his leg. It should be interesting to see how they fit the whole manga into 52 episodes and probably are going to have to go at full throttle. If there is an anime only ending due to Arakawa not being able to finish in time, I am going to go apeshit.
It is sure at 100% that is going to be 52 episodes? We will see how it fit well. The good news are : no filler episodes (not needed) and still 2 months until the anime aired so I think the mangaka could finish it in time and if not, 52 episodes with 1 episode each week make it 1 year until the end, so it give him some time to finish it. All he needs to do is to make a little calendar with each important chapter he needs to absolutely make to keep the story on a great end and like this, he can estimate when he will be able to end his manga. It's like in movie business, even before you start filming, you already now when you're supposed to finish the movie and when it will air in theater.
Here is one of the most apt saying in human history "Shit happens". Arakawa might not be able to finish due to sickness or maybe wants to extend the plot. She said that the manga should finish around 100 chapters and we're on like 92. So theoretically there shouldn't be anime only ending but who knows half a year is a long time. As someone else mentioned that they could two chapters an episode and have enough space but as I mentioned they are going to rush through this a bit but it should still kick epic ass.
omg not one more useless anime
fma was facking boring and its going to be shity like naruto.
thumds down x1000
No anime is useless, if you start calling some animes useless, you really shouldnt be here as an aniota x.x
you suck infinitely whoever you are Anonymous. This anime series and its movie won several awards to its credit.
Blasphemy!
Wow.I wasn't expecting a remake at all, especially since the first series/season really didn't end all that long ago.I was hoping they would have found a way to pick up some time after they left off, but that's ok.IF they are actually going to remain more "true" to the manga with the 2nd anime series, then they SHOULD do it more justice than the first.
at least it's not going to be a troll....
...OR is it?
