What possessed her to do that is beyond me. She actually looked gairly cute originally. Now she'll send the meny running due to looking like a freak. lol

Seriously though it's almost like she has muscles in her face that allow her to widen her eyes... muscles in the face?? no no... that's crazy talk.

She might not have used plastic surgery or photoshop. She probably just put on circle lenses, opened her eyes wide, and put the camera at a high angle.

She looked better in the first and last photos. In the new ones she just looks... vapid.

First photo, she's 22....last photos, she's 13...so, she has grown up !! and first photo (now) she use contact lenses that improve your eye-style, your eyes looks like bigger than the reality ^^

mari didn't have surgery, and neither did nono. in fact mari posted a blog entry where she showed her readers how she makes her eyes look big.

there are plenty less drastic ways that girls make their eyes look bigger such as cosmetic tape (which pries them wider), angles/lighting, and of course make-up. not to mention the older pics here are screen-caps where she wasn't trying to keep her eyes wide opened... or the fact that tsuji has stated that she hasn't had any cosmetic surgery when asked, and considering how accepted this double eye surgery (which is different than MAKING EYES BIG - a surgery that isn't even practiced-, it's simply done to create an eyelid with a crease) is in japan she has no reason to lie.

i like her looks better when she did not enlarger ger eye yet...give me a soothing and calm feeling cuz she looks kind of cool that way instead of fake creepy eyes

Horrible, I think this kind of plastic surgery should be illegal.

It's not a shop. Jackie Chan had the same surgery done to him years ago. Just compare him in one of his first movies like Eagle Shadow something or other and something he made a couple years later, like Project A. Suffice to say this type of surgery has existed for a while.

I don't blame her. I rather blame the guy who worked on her, geez, I seen jobs done with 300 dollars that look better than that.

Plastic surgery is like breathing water, at least in Korea, everybody talks about it openly even on TV. Nobody even tries to hide it anymore.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks these photos are shopped. This can be easily done with extra-wide contact lenses. It's quite popular in Japan:
