What western companies? we’re talking about MS and their endless funds here, it’s not like ubisoft or any other developer is in a position to pose any threat to jpn developers, in JAPAN.

My rant is about Japan buying those western products due to the lack of reaction on Sony’s end.
I do blame Sony more than anything here.

For starters, every game from the major jpn 3rd parties should have AT LEAST been multiplatform, if not exclusives for PS3.(thinking about vesperia, so4, IU, LR & Dead Rising that started it all)

Then you’ve got Atlus that keeps releasing their flagship series on PS2, that certainly doesn’t help.

What does Sony do about it, absolutely nothing. (except securing versus 13, if there’s any truth to that at all)

But in the end, what can Sony do against an opponent with endless funds?

Btw Japan wouldn’t have needed to move in on the western market, since it created it in the first place.

Thank god Nintendo is on top, though, that’s mildly reassuring.
