Shakugan no Shana III Likely Due in Autumn

Fans of classic tsundere anime Shakugan no Shana have been aware of the impending release of a new series for some time, but in a recent interview Geneon all but dated it to April:
“In autumn ‘that title’ which everyone loves will get its continuation.”
Since they have dated plenty of their other big titles already, it seems Shana’s return is the likely outcome…

And this is just speculation, ya know. There's nothing there that confirms Shana III. "That title"? As a Shanafag, this is exciting news, but I'd like to see something more concrete.

Really? I never heard that they announced a third season. I just want them to stop fucking up and filling the damn show with fillers. It should be back on track with the cliffhanger they gave us but who knows. The pacing was absolutely horrible in the second season and they just need to stop with the school and the stupid friends nobody really cares about. I'm looking forward to it but by no means anywhere near as much as the second season.
I actually quite enjoyed the slice of life, but then again, I backlogged the show and watched it in one shot.
One can only hope.

It wasn't THAT bad... just... a little rushed, sudden, and a little gay at some parts... they just distributed the plot badly between episodes...
No, Shana-2 was THAT bad. It pretty much destroyed everything good, what first season had.
