Really? I never heard that they announced a third season. I just want them to stop fucking up and filling the damn show with fillers. It should be back on track with the cliffhanger they gave us but who knows. The pacing was absolutely horrible in the second season and they just need to stop with the school and the stupid friends nobody really cares about. I'm looking forward to it but by no means anywhere near as much as the second season.

THis actually has me a little worried as I don't think the plot in the novels has advanced sufficiently to provide enough content for another series, which means that this will probably be an original content one...

It was obvious is was coming since s2 ended. Not exactly a fan, but I do want some more tsundere loli.

I liked both the Dubbed & Subbed versions. Am I the only one who wants Shana to get 'older'- lol. She's too little. It's cute and all but I like the supporting cast more- Wilhimina Carmel - Manipulator of Objects (or "Specialist at Everything" in the USA) and Majorie Daw and book...I'd like to see a spin-off with them.

Shana's great but they need to flesh her out more- all she does is eat Mellon Bread and bitch...she was much more mysterious and aloof in the first series- she lost alot of her charm in the second series.

Alrighty... Since no one has actually laid this out yet, I might as well...

Season 1 was decently close to the light novels, aside from attempting to have a conclusion since at that point, a second season wasn't a certainty, which is why a lot of people enjoyed it more than season 2. The more great source material you draw from, the less likely you are to screw anything up.

Season 2 however... It started off drawing very little from the light novels which is why people were able to notice a major drop in the series and then suddenly witnessing the series they were used to watching return when they showed that episode regarding something in Marjory's past though again its end was a bit weak due to having to whip up another semi conclusion in addition to having to account for all the crap they had included that didn't take place in the light novels.

As it stands, there is only really one and a half novels worth of source material to really draw upon at this moment before they rely on filler so I'm not exactly too fond of the third season coming so soon. They might be able to make the source material last a bit longer by extending Yuji's breakdown across several episodes since they didn't really include any of it occuring in the second season, but it is probably going to be a bit awkward regardless.

Oh well, I'll still watch it because Shana is the tsundere goddess in my eyes, and as long as it still retains the aspects in it to make Shana moe to me, I'll enjoy it.

Shana was not that bad in SOL mode...god Macross frontier was destroyed by it..............
