I can't believe what the producers of the anime thought when they decide to destroy a incredible manga by making an anime which suck that much. I have seen a lot of anime who doesn't follow their manga and some are not that bad. But this one, even if a manga of To-Love-Ru didn't exist, the anime would still suck because of his overuse of a context that could be 10 minutes long and make it 25 minutes long. That's the real problem.
Fan service is not everything my dear, feel kinda sad for the author of To-Love-Ru to see his manga made into suck an anime.

besides, Tomatsu Haruka voice is well-matched to Lala XD
No manga-->anime adaptations as worst as Toloveru? Bet you never read and watch Samurai Deeper Kyo, a feudal samurai vs samurai manga turned into samurai vs sci-fi-ish monsters anime..
read the manga.. if the anime followed it the anime would have been 10x as great.. not to bad on its own.. but could have been better.. still hope for the OVA
Maybe fan service isnt all but Id still say its wrong to say that the anime sucks as much as you say it does. I haven't read the manga so I can't compare, but I doubt it sucks that much compared to the manga...
Read the manga dude... The beginning of the anime is ok and even cool compared to the manga. After some changes appear like why Rito has to marry Lala and when Ren appear (this episode was a real big JOKE, manga version was much better with the contest between rito and Ren to kiss Lala first)... and at last, a lot of characters appear much sooner which completely destroy a lot of schemes which were to happen soon. Sorry, but the anime is a big joke to the manga. I lost interest too easily and I watched it until episode 12 before giving up...
Oh yeah, sorry for refering anime to a person, my mistake, my native language is french and i'm not perfect in english... you can't be perfect that easily, even for native english speaker.

The manga as of late seems to be going downhill, well at least for me.
Yeah it is slowly. I actually blame jump itself cause they are censoring the manga even more than they used too. At one time the outline of the nipples was allowed, but around and just maybe after the adventure quest chapters thay slowly started getting covered up by little smoke or little bits of cloves and they changed the story around it.
