why do they put the scrolling text on these videos? is it from nico or do the people making them think it's useful to have the entire screen covered in text? they put the karaoke fansubbers put on screen with the hiragana version, kanji version and then english and another set at hte bottom of the screen to shame.
That's how nico works - people comment right on the videos. You get used to it. And if you can read any, they're often quite funny on their own. If you go to the actual site, the video player interface has a button where you can disable them.
