It doesn't seem that Sankaku Complex is too keen on reporting finished VN translation projects, having missed out on nearly every(actually, have they reported any finished projects?) translated VN recently.
These include Saya no Uta, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Tears to Tiara and... Well, many more.
I apologize for the lack of coverage of translated VN projects.
As you might be able to tell from the sort of things we cover, we tend to report little on matters concerning translations, dubs, international regionalizations and the like.
Apart from some doujinshi translations, I can only think of the Dattebayo Naruto fansub report a few months ago, actually...
If anyone feels news of a completed translation project is significant enough (something along the lines of Clannad, Chaos Head, Tears to Tiara, etc), feel free to post something about it on the forums or send one of us a message on the Channel and we might cover it.
We try to maintain a balance (not siding to either extreme) which ensures proper support for the original creators is possible, so fansubs and similar are problematic in that regard. Hopefully, there will be progress on that front...
I agree that reporting everything would be way too much trouble these days, since the amount of visual novels that get translated is pretty large.
But getting some kind of reports would be nice. With all the minor news they could be a nice addition.
Nice to see another plug for this excellent game! One little nitpick--based on what they've said about it so far, it seems that the temporary title is Sumaga Special; the part about not needing happy ends appears to be more of a tagline.
Good point. I wasn't sure about this - tagline, subtitle or what... Still it's something to place prominently, and for once isn't in Engrish.
