This certainly seems a theme more common in illustration than in practice (although it is apparently a thriving genre in AV), for reasons which are not hard to guess.
The term itself, パイズリ / paizuri, has an interesting, though not entirely clear, etymology. Apparently, the “pai” part is a simple enough contraction of the word “oppai”, but the “zuri” is said to derive from 板擦り / itazuri, a technique of food preparation where vegetables are vigorously rubbed against a board with salt to season them.
Replace the “board” with a lady’s cleavage and you have the supposed word origin; it is further said to originate with TV talent Kuniko Yamada, although we have to wonder about this…
