Welp, if I’m not mistaken White Album is an adaptation of a reasonably popular Visual Novel and currently those seem to be the top sellers as far as anime DVD’s go. What can I say, 2ch really loves their Visual Novel stories.

  Hmmm…I wouldnt say either had much in the way of tempo changes. As for the B-Side tracks, they had some potential, but could really have benefited from some tempo changes. Kind of a waste, but really when you’re producing a pair of singles that have a tie in with a moe-centric anime that is a guaranteed hit with Otaku I don’t think you’re really concerned about trying to make said singles stand out. They knew these were guaranteed top 5 placers regardless of what they did with them.

  Errr….actually, I was anticipating DSL getting the number 1 slot and Cagayake Girls getting the number 2 by a wide margin considering how crazy otaku usually go in buying these moe anime related singles. Don’t know how you got the opposite impression from my post, nor how I would think this is a unique phenomenon? :/

  Wait, what does Kadokawa have to do with any of this now? Also for an Otaku bolstered duo of singles, Don’t Say Lazy and Cagayake Girls leave a lot to be desired with their 2nd and 4th place rankings respectively (I go by Oricon for by units sold rankings). As for the songs themselves, both are tolerable, but also a long way off from earning a place on my permanent playlist. Finally anybody that buys 11 needs to manage their finances better.

  Oh geez, alright fine if you are going to keep getting all defensive (which is weird since I wasn’t making any criticisms to begin with) then that’s something I’m not interested in seeing. Next time though I recommend not reading into people’s statements more then necessary though, lest you imagine that they are criticizing you.

  @Michio: That really is all you are capable of doing isn’t it? I also love how everybody is so damn serious about this K-On stuff that they’ve fallen into a pattern of attempted flaming of a person for poking fun at a business’ staff blogs comments about it. “No…no, OMG STFU YOU! GTFO! K-ON IS SRS BSNS WAAAAAAAH!”. Actually Fender is srs bsns….well outside of the staff blog at least.
