partly because only the later 2 are tsundere.

Shana is more hard-core tsundere, I think. Plus she swings a big flaming sword.

Out of Kugimiya’s Tsunderes, yeah, I’d say Nagi (tenori taiga is a bit annoying :( )

Shana all the way. Nagi is way too much dere, while Louise is far too much tsun for my tastes. That and Shana’s tsundere streaks are generally more well done and don’t fall prone to becoming overly stupid like they did with Louise or Nagi, but then again, Shana was their predecessor as well so she had quite the lead over them to begin with anyways.

As for Taiga, she is indeed nice, and I would rank her above Nagi and Louise, but she can’t compare to Shana at all.

Louise is without a doubt the worst of the four. Tsundere is great and all, but she’s simply a sadist, for every one ounce of dere, she delivers seven-fold tsun.

Liking Taiga though, mainly because she doesn’t abuse the protagonist every single goddamn scene. There’s still a lot of it, but they mitigated the one-sided violence enough as to where it’s far more lovable, only a masochist would hang around Louise longer than a week.

And Shana and Nagi are love. Shana luckily evolved past the sadism stage, and Nagi was always great.

I haven’t seen much of Toradora so I put Taiga last.

Taiga is what ruins toradora IMHO.

For Louise I just love the character but I also like the new anime series Toradora Taiga Aisaka too. I can’t choose one T_T.

Bah, I choose Kugimiya. Done. Well, if it’s pure tsundere to be the basis of judgment, I’m gonna have to say Shana suits the term best. She has the least deviations from it. Taiga would be the next candidate, but she’s generally tsun towards Ryuuji, then goes dere too much for Kitamura. Nagi gave very little tsun, then is pretty much just dere. Louise is as stated above: “for every one ounce of dere, she delivers seven-fold tsun”. Anyway, if we’re still talking about Rie, give me a Tanaka as well.

Shana and Taiga fit more into the classic tsundere as mentioned by Shiraishi Minoru.
While Louise and Nagi fit into the modern tsundere.
Personally I prefer Shana > Nagi > Taiga > Louise

My vote, Taiga = Shana -> Nagi -> Louise, for basically all of the reasons already mentioned. Toradora’s characters feel very much alive, and you will have a wish granted if you touch Taiga :O…ahem, Shana’s URUSAI can at times get annoying, but a great character never the less. Nagi…well she’s a great otaku hikkikomori, but I just don’t find her as great of a character as the other two. Need I say why Louise is at the bottom of my list? LOL

Not sure how to think of Shana… never watched the anime…. and Loise gives me the shivers.

Between Nagi and Taiga… I think Taiga makes a better Tsunderella. ^^

Nagi’s the best, but she isn’t tsundere. The Palmtop Tiger is a the top tsundere. And she is (barely) tsundere — with a welcome emphasis on the dere, recently. Shana and Louise are annoying and boring — especially Louise. I guess you can tell I’m not really a classic tsundere fan.

Actually , kugimiyas best tsundere is Katarigi Yuuhi :p
