I wonder if it’s time to destroy the world already…or god will be a little bit more patient and give those idiots time to reconsider their laws?

  They don’t have to emulate the PS3 architecture in hardware. Since Sony has the original specs and code, they can just re-implement the PS3 execution environment as a compatibility mode in the PS4 hardware. Kind of like how modern amd64 based operating systems run x86 software seamlessly. That said, I doubt it’s going to happen. It’s expensive and unprofitable, especially compared to selling all your games back to you again.
