All the AR-15s I've used have the forward assist button/lever. In strictest technical terms, an M-16 (US army equipment name) is an AR-15 (product model name) - we just use the latter now for semi-auto guns in most cases. The whole M4 line is also ARs, just short ones derived from the XM117 series.

Of course it is-- It's Japan. Since you can't own real guns there other than shotguns (which have as much paperwork as an automatic weapons purchase), most people will dismiss these as toys, so no need for Blaze orange tips.

IIRC AR 15 doesn't have the button behind the dust cover for nudging the bullet forward, M16S1 does. So this one is a M16S1. But Seriously, that's one damn realistic looking M16..... are you sure that's a replica?
