Much needed improvement. Almost enough to make up for the LOL PLOT.
Always nice to see some of the side characters showing some skin.

Lol this sucks tbh, because the HDTV most likely has higher quality than crappy DVD.
I like how seasons 1 and 2 of Zero Tsukaima revolved around plot and action, while season 3 went all ecchi. Goddamnit.

You do realize the broadcast of this series on TV was a station upscale right?
If you take into account the low bandwidth constraints of TV airings, combined with the what I just mentioned, then I think you’ll find the DVD is of much superior quality.
If you want the resolution boost, play the DVD on a quality upsclaing player in combination with a quality HDTV. I think you’ll find the results are much better than the crappy 300mb encoded stuff people distribute.
Back on topic, the series still sucks but at least the uncensored content and fun OVA eps like this make up for it somewhat.
Now we just need news about a 4th season :D
