    The tentacles were lame, not enough slime (the shoe part had my hopes up), and almost nothing happened - I still can't believe that was a standard-length episode.

    Well it's a good thing I dropped that $### after episode 8. If I wanted to see "H," I'd watch REAL hentai and download h-doujins.

    That's more "Japan's mass denial about their lost after WWII" than "Gonzo thinking people are stupid."

    Also: Strike Witches one of the few non-$unrise, non-KyotoAnimu titles that went past the magic number of 10,000.

    And personally; I still think that the people over at Gonzo had turned chicken$### and panicked when the otaku-tachi at home threatened to beat the crap out of them for going towards the international audience. -_-;

    You allow for anonymous comments so people can say whatever they want whilst staying an inch or two away from kicking distance. It's cowardly and lacks imagination.

    My apologies for me believing that the last thing we want is another #chan, Artefact.

    And as for Geezer Rage's so-called argument: Neither of us... I doubt that the people who come here and post actually work for the already secretive anime industry. So we don't really know what's going on.

    Starting your arguments with words like "dumbass" before explaining away your rage towards the anime market... How do you know that this won't make you look like an idiot yourself?

    "Don't do Gods work of judging unless you wanna be judged" is the old saying. I myself had suffered the blows for "opening my mouth." But atleast I know where the line is between stating my opinion and just being annoying.

    If I restricted comments to users with a logon, I expect you would be the first to create another account to sock puppet with, just as you have here used an anonymous proxy to make it appear that "Geezer rage" is not in fact yourself.

    You're such an otaku-tachi dumbass. Gonzo isn't failing because they tried to do something different, it's because they're doing the same thing that everyone else is doing in an already-saturated market of soulless clones. And that includes "going toward the international audience."

    Their claim of targeting the international audience was just empty marketing, and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Guess what, all anime companies have been targeting the international market ever since Japan's "lost decade" economic recession made the easy international dollars irresistible. It's been standard business practice ever since Tenchi Muyo's accidental international success as a stupid harem anime and Nintendo's not-accidental international success with the Pokemon toy franchise. Dumb shows about toys and moe harems are the huge international hits, because they've discovered that toy collectors and moe fetishists happen to exist all over the globe.

    Gonzo is just another copycat company among hundreds, and to lose them means nothing.

    I've alway thought Satoru was a girl, I figured(/hoped) they were hiding his/her gender. She/he was the only one not included in the bathing scene earlier in the show. XD

    Ironically enough, while Gonzo's English subs for Linebarrels do imply that Satoru is male, in the source material, Satoru is indeed female. Also, the commander of the transport in episodes 10 and 11 was originally male.
