Hilarious as it may be (you guys aren't getting any girls), it's quite unfair to compare this two images, since the anime girls are thinner, have bigger eyes and small noses, not to mention they look half the age of the ladies on top (plus to girl on the right is fatter and scrunches her face, the anime one doesn't have the balls to do so).
ANYTHING will look cute anime-wise, that's the whole point of the style.

I honestly never get these kinds of 2D vs 3D posts... Cosplayers vs what they imitate, or 2D game art vs the same chars in 3D art, now those make sense.
But some artists using random images as inspiration for images so significantly different that they might as well have made them without the inspiration images?
Please tell me people are not so horribly ignorant that this comes across as anything special, especially since artists are capable of even drawing things without basing it on any images, relying only on their minds.

To be fair, anime girls only come in two styles - cute or sexy. Rarely will an artist go through the extra effort of adding imperfections just to make a character stand out or make another character seem better looking by contrast.
