Strike Witches Complete Wing

Some intrepid (or less charitably, obsessive) 2channer shares the crowning glory of his existence: a complete set of 501st Strike Wing Strike Witch trading figures. He managed to complete the set of 14 figures with a loss of merely ¥22,000.

Not all observers are happy with the state of their pantsu, but otherwise they seem well recieved…

Not to mention that collecting these is like playing Russian Roulette.. i’d probably give upafter spending $700 only to get 10 Yoshikas over and over again..

I only have Yoshika… the frontmost one.
Which is good enough considering where I live and how much I’d have to spend to get the whole crew.

Hmm. Anime stores out in my neck of the woods often open some of the cartons, group the figures into sets, and then reseal them. So it’s not that difficult to get a full set, and the store can sell them at a slight markup over the unsorted figures: win-win situation. (I have full sets of Mecha Musume 1-3, hence can testify to that.)

I somehow suspect that Japanese otaku would not be happy to hear this.

You can buy them like that in Akiba. Individually too. And online I think…
