I must ask, is this a joke? The huge majority of these costumes are alot worse than Fínnish-ones. Only thing different are the quality of the pohotos!

Still yes, your right, Germany does more good looking cosplays than Finland. And now I jus say LOL. In Finland we have 5 million people. Now think how many in Germany. 82 million! Wake up people, wake up! Have you ever heard of proportion? Now, when we use this mathematical thingy with our brains the result is.... FINLAND KICKS YOUR ASS!

But anime characters are designed not to look very Japanese in most cases.Huge eyes,different hair colors. They're not much more accurate at cosplaying if you think about it.

Well at least one of the pictures IS from the Finnish cosplay event - #83. The text on the paper on the wall is in Finnish. Who knows if more of these are from the wrong convention..

Such a cute troll! *gives a cookie* Now, regarding those cosplays (or attempts at cosplaying), some of the costumes look good, but their poses or expressions just don't combine at all, but at least they look some what like the characters. As for the rest, I will just say that they could be even worse. Like a Portuguese guy that "cosplayed" as Larva (from Vampire Princess Miyu) with just a white sheet covering part of his body. He even gave the bullshit that he was cosplaying that character for the first time on the entire world. The Portuguese anime "community" never fails to amuse me.

seriously, "not so" should be removed. Good german cosplayers do exist(i know because i am from germany) but half of these are 3d-pig-disgusting, and 90% of the rest is just normal bad

And I thought the cosplays around here were so-so, but after seeing the two posts about the cosplays I've to say people here are very good compared.

Also, the major difference is that in Asia most (I would say around 80~90%) are woman and they cos/crossplay without a problem. And every where else, guys usually cosplay guys and girls mainly cosplay girls.
