As I type this, my cat is sitting on my lap, head resting on my mouse hand, and I think hes drooling.
It took me ages to train him to not sleep on the keyboard, to not attack the mouse (although the most hilarious thing hes ever done was to shoot a friend of mine in hl2) and that moving objects on the very expensive lcd screen are not there to be hunted. Ever.

Ive also caught him asleep under the power supply fan once or twice, my motherboard is covered in cat fur :)
