Tired of your unassuming and plain MicroSD memory? Perhaps for some strange reason you hanker after a more moe repository for your photographs? The latest in moe marketing gimmicks is moeficating the memory by providing moe characters to represent various memory products, each with an appealing design and even a backstory.
The memory, dubbed MoeSD and manufactured and marketed by SAC, is available chiefly from Sofmap at the moment, in capacities of 1-4GB, with an adapter also being sold. Prices are reasonable.
They have added some “moe” snow to the cards thmeselves. I suppose since they spend most of their time inside cameras there is little point in printing much more on them…
This is some potentially lucrative Akiba-kei marketing, but it seems slightly unfortunate that they couldn’t go the extra few centimetres and anthropomorphise their product properly (that is, make it more than just a random moe mascot and have it display characteristics of the product); perhaps moeficating a small plastic rectangle is just too difficult?
