Nagi no Gotoku: Nagi Cameo in Hayate no Gotoku

Nagi-sama, of crazy miko anime Kannagi, accompanied by Jin, has made a brief and unexpected cameo appearance in chapter 201 of Hayate No Gotoku, illustrated in an appropriately traditional style.

This comes soon after an unusually extensive (and voiced) appearance of the Hayate no Gotoku cast in parody fest anime Zettai Karen Children. Haruhi even turned up in Kannagi itself. Whatever next?

Though cruel comments abound as to the reasons for her languid pose…

Since I couldn’t find this on the channel, I uploaded and translated it:

Since I’m unfamiliar with the manga, I have zero clue as to what’s going on.

Ever see that hairstyle anywhere else? Gotoku also had a Lucky Star emblazoned mikoshi a few chapters ago too…

Not to mention the guy also has Jin’s hairstyle complete with the “double ahoge”. Common sense tells me that this is obviously a cameo.

In an earlier chapter, Nagi is drinking from a cup with the “Nagi*” logo from the Kannagi opening.

I’ll sum up what Japanese otaku-elite think about this “cameo”:

    WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE- WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-
    WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE- WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE-WHORE…
