As with the first, he we see a compilation of more stylish and interesting anime openings:
Player 1
Nico.
Major bonus points for the inclusion of Trigun and Lodoss there, to say nothing of Ghost in the Shell.
You may wish to see more such legends, fortunately now available in in abundance.

Lodoss is one of the more beautiful OPs I have ever seen. Too bad the actual animation didn't come close XD
Looking forward to seeing the Lodoss OP again, but I wonder which OP we're talking about - the original OAV, or the TV series.
Haven't seen the video yet, so I'm going risk being wrong and guessing its the TV OP as that would be stylistically fit in better to these sort of MADs.
Plus the song was simply beautiful...
Was the TV... Really both the OP and ED of both those series were amazing.
Just finished watching it. How weirdly beautiful old cell drawn animation could be. It could just be the nostalgia typing, but it had such a dirty, gritty realistic style that you don't see nowadays with computer colored art.
It sure was surreal hearing one of my favorite OPs from way back when I didn't understand a lick of Japanese (and had to watch Lodoss raw). So that's what she was saying all along...!
I also love the very last song at the end ^^
An idea for a post comes to me - now I just need one of those old Deedlit images...

Yeah! I remember thinking the same thing when I started the transition into the newer stuff. I eventually got used to it but at first I missed the older styles of Bebop, Outlaw Star, Season 1 of The Big O and Gunsmith Cats.
Ah Deedlit... my first Anime crush~
I'm probably the only person who liked the Lodoss TV series, The OP is still my favourite too.
I like it greatly.
This reminded me of an old Deedlit doujin I salvaged from a 15 gig drive I had back in the 90s:

I had completely forgotten that the ROD OVA had an OP. I expecting the TV version when I saw Yomiko pop up.
Also, thanks for reminding me about Lodoss. I should dig my videos out of storage.
Ahhh, i'm nostalgic since i saw "Kiseki no Umi" from Lodoss in de video, even if a like most "Adesso e Fortuna" from the ovas, Maaya Sakamoto shows again why she is Yoko Kanno's musa.
By the way it was a little bit strange to see in the video Gun x Sword opening and not Cowboy Bebop's Tank!.
See you.
Cowboy Beboop was in the first Anime OP Legends MAD
How's Lodoss anyways? I watched part of the first episode but stopped :|
If you like fantastic/epic stories, Lodoss is for you.
The character in Record of Lodoss are really nice. Deedlit and Pirotess are the greatest elves ever. And the story of Parn, Ashram are gret too.
Is a kind of LOTR in anime. Maybe you need to give it a second chance :)
I'm a big fan of the series, if you want a decent dungeons and dragons anime then its deffinately worth a watch. Especially the OVA.
All of a sudden i feel a sudden urge to go watch lodoss, but the ova, not the tv...
Of all those op only beck i never watched, the rest im long done with them...
This piece was very nostalgic...
HOLY SHIT!!!
BECK + LODOSS WAR + ROD = EVANGELION = OWNS ALL!!!
Makes me want to watch Trigun again, except, well Wolfwood...
Also the Evangelion OP make be realise how differntly I feel about Zettai Ryouiki now
