NHK only finished its TV run about 2 months before the Strike Witches OAV came out in Jan. 2007, and the Strike Witches novel was concurrent with the NHK TV series.

Wait, wasn't Welcome To The NHK (one of my fav. animes/manga/novels) released WAY before Strike Witches? Is that suppose to be art before the anime (SW) came out?

Speaking of Welcome to the NHK, it's about time they figured out the licensing crap and released Volume 6 of the DVD collection. I had to stop after 5 because of ADV's jackassery, and I'm still pretty pissed about it. I like that show!

Never put two-and-two together with the Strike Witches references, though. Easter eggs like that are cool.
