Valkyria Chronicles Anime Due

Martial drama par excellence (and action RPG) 戦場のヴァルキュリア / Valkyria Chronicles is due to receive an anime adaptation.
The title is set to broadcast in April 2009, and will be handled by A-1 Pictures, who have recently produced such anime as Kannagi and Persona – Trinity Soul.
It seems unlikely they will opt for 2D/3D hybrid animation, which is a shame considering how well it was executed in the game, but with such excellent RPG adapted titles as Tales of the Abyss about recently, this may yet be highly promising.

OMG, YES!!! I love this game, and the characters are awesome. I hope the minor characters will get more face time too.
I agree that Persona anime adaptation wasn’t very good in my opinion, the game is way better than that.
Anyway something tells me that Senjou no Valkyria anime flavour might turn out okie… but time will tell. *crosses finger that it won’t dissapoint*
The Persona anime isn’t even an adaptation of the game. It just used the game as a jumping board to do its own thing.

a shocktrooper by the name of Edy
Edy and Salinas used to be my go-to shocktroopers, but now I just use Rosie and the psycho sadist chick. If I use them at all; a lot can be done with just Alicia and the orders Defend, Evade and Caution (Ghirlandaio 1st half in 3 turns).
For some reason I can’t get enough of Aisha…
