Haruhi Wii Dance Game Delayed

The much anticipated Haruhi Wii dance game, Haruhi no Gekidou, has had its release put back from November to January 22nd, a delay sure to disappoint many, especially in conjunction with the earlier confusing news that the dance portion was “cancelled“. The news comes by way of the official site.

Clearly development has not been without its hurdles; at least there is still the 3D adventure game due for the Wii as well.

Makes sense. It's not like the Wii's popular or anything and requires developer attention and effort. Nor does it encourage physical exertion while playing, so the dance portion shouldn't be missed.

On that note, is this a game that'll play on American Wii consoles, or is there any difference at all between US and Japanese Wii consoles?
